McCandlish Holton attorneys Lawrence A. "Lex" Dunn, Audra M. Dickens, and C. Walker Terry presented in the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys’ Spring Meeting at the Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville on May 10th and 11th.

Lex presented “15 Insurance Coverage Topics in 30 Minutes,” where he discussed various aspects of the initial communications with an insurance adjuster for coverage opinion requests. Audra presented on handling Punitive Damages prior to and during trial in "Punitive Damages-Who Gets Punished and Why.” Walker participated in the Corporate and Commercial Litigation Case Law Update and the presentation “Okay, Google...Am I At Risk? Why Emergent Technology Matters To Your Law Practicewhich detailed how developing technology effects the field of law.

McCandlish Holton has been involved with the VADA since its inception 50 years ago and several members of the firm hold key roles in the organization. Firm Director D. Cameron Beck Jr. currently serves as President. Audra is the Vice Chair of the Auto and Transportation Liability section and Walker is the Vice Chair in the Corporate and Commercial Litigation section. All three assisted in planning the 2018 Spring Meeting.
