Mariah is an associate in our Workers’ Compensation practice. She specializes in workers' compensation defense for employers and insurance carriers in the Commonwealth. Mariah graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in Richmond, VA.

While earning her law degree, Mariah held internships at the Goochland County Attorney’s Office, Virginia529, and Markel Group. She was a student attorney for the University of Richmond School of Law’s Intellectual Property and Transactional Law Clinic, where she researched, prepared, and submitted a 1023 long-form application for recognition of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. She also served as the Online Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review and as a Board Member for the Richmond Law & Business Forum.

Before joining McCandlish Holton, Mariah worked at an AmLaw 100 firm as a Billing Administrative Assistant.

When not assisting clients, Mariah enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her two long-hair chihuahuas, Cooper and Gizmo.
