Neal Hampton is an associate in the Immigration Law practice group. His employment-based immigration practice focuses on J-1 waivers and green card processing for physicians, national interest waiver petitions, and immigrant petitions for foreign workers who are extraordinary or outstanding in their field.
Prior to joining McCandlish Holton, Neal worked as an attorney in the bankruptcy group of an AmLaw 100 firm in New York City. While there, Neal maintained a pro bono practice focusing on applications for asylum, representing clients before USCIS and in immigration court.
Neal received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, he participated in the Immigration Law Clinic, where he prepared applications for U-Visas and under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
In his free time, Neal enjoys experiencing love and chaos while spending time with his three children. He also enjoys cooking, photography, and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains with family and friends.
