Johnson have joined the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. Practicing out of McCandlish Holton’s Roanoke, Virginia office, Peter and David maintain a statewide practice.
Peter joins the firm as a Director, bringing significant experience in workers’ compensation defense, insurance coverage, and complex litigation. He represents employers, insurers, and self-insured entities in matters across Virginia, handling claims involving a wide range of industries including transportation, manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Known for his strategic approach to complex claims—including those involving traumatic injuries and sensitive workplace allegations—Peter helps clients manage risk while achieving efficient, results-driven outcomes. Prior to joining McCandlish Holton, he led civil defense litigation at a large Virginia firm and practiced commercial litigation at a major Houston-based firm.
David joins the firm as an associate attorney, focusing his practice on defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters. He strategically guides clients through claims from initial filing through resolution, providing practical, business-focused counsel.
