Kate is an Associate with the Immigration Practice Group. She focuses on work visas and green cards for healthcare professionals, and others with specialized training working in the US.
Kate graduated from the William & Mary Law School. During law school, she was Treasurer of the Data Privacy and Cyber Security Legal Society, Executive Editor of the ‘‘The Comparative Jurist’’ blog, and Symposium Chair of the Comparative Legal Student Scholars. Kate has work experience as a document review clerk with an international e-discovery and document management company, overseeing compliance with privacy rules. She has also conducted legal research as an extern in a Virginia law firm in the area of Admiralty Law regarding personal injury claims and edited an amicus brief against the Puerto Rico Ports Authority filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Kate speaks Mandarin with intermediate proficiency and has experience interning with a public interest law firm in Beijing, China.
