Maggie is an associate on the Health Care Team. Legal issues arising within the health care industry – including regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters – represent the cornerstones of Maggie's practice.

Maggie provides advice to a wide range of health care providers, including physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, hospitals and health systems, and nursing homes. Her practice focuses on a variety of state and federal regulatory issues such as Certificate of Public Need (COPN) analysis, state certification and licensure requirements, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback, and Stark law compliance, and Medicare billing issues. She also provides transactional advice to clients in joint ventures, professional service arrangements, employment arrangements, and a range of other transactional, contractual, and general corporate matters.

Maggie is a member of the Virginia Bar Association (Health Law Section) and the American Bar Association (Health Law Section; Young Lawyers Division). In addition, she is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.

A native of Poland, Maggie began working on her undergraduate degree in Germany, where she graduated from the Erasmus Gymnasium in Amberg. While completing her degree in Virginia, Maggie received the Polish-American Kosciuszko Foundation Scholarship. She also served as Secretary of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International. She graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Alpha Chi, the National Honor Society.

She is fluent in Polish and German, with a working knowledge of French.
