Mike Gladstone is a member of McCandlish Holton's Litigation Practice Group, where he counsels the firm’s clients on matters related to civil litigation in tort and commercial matters, immigration consequences of criminal actions, and work authorization and employment issues raised by immigration law. Mike has experience in all aspects of litigation, including immigration/removal, worksite enforcement, tort, business and commercial matters, and product liability. His product liability experience includes a focus on industrial machinery, warnings and labels, product development and introduction, and associated commercial issues. He has extensive trial experience in the State and Federal Courts in Virginia, and Washington DC.
Mike is admitted to practice in all Virginia courts, the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He was named one of Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite in 2005 and 2006 in Immigration/Naturalization law.
Mike is a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the Association of Transportation Law Professionals. He is fluent in German. Mike has achieved an AV rating, Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards.
