Meredith represents corporations, creditors, and individuals in all Virginia state and federal courts. Meredith’s practice includes general liability defense, insurance coverage, management-side employment disputes, business torts, and bankruptcy. In addition to her expanding trial experience, she regularly drafts and argues motions in state and federal court.

Meredith’s recent successes include:

  • Obtained a defense verdict on a motion to strike in an automobile accident liability case.
  • Defended a significant property damage case which resulted in a settlement less than the pre-litigation settlement offer.
  • Prevailed on a motion for summary judgment in a breach of contract case pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
  • Participated in the successful defense of a million-dollar mild traumatic brain injury claim in Petersburg Circuit Court which resulted in a nominal settlement on the eve of trial.
  • Obtained default judgment and established the non-dischargeability of a debt in an adversary proceeding in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia.
