Scott C. Ford spoke at a seminar entitled “2005 Legal Update and a Physician's Perspective of the Difficult Claimant.” Mr. Ford provided an update on recent changes to the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act and noteworthy cases from the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission and its appellate levels. Dr. Murray Joiner, Jr. was also a speaker. Dr. Joiner is a frequent lecturer on topics related to low back pain in the injured worker, RSD, Cumulative Trauma and Acupuncture, Chronic Pain Management and Soft Tissue Injuries. The seminar was held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the firm's Richmond office. |
